Coney; Momma, Gran-Mommy, Big-Grammy, and friend to all the lives she touched, especially the Garden Communities in Georgia. Our Lord and Savior received her on Sept 28th due to congestive heart failure. She was 94 years young. She chose to be cremated, with an immediate family service spreading her ashes where her husband, George lies. He gave his life to Jesus as a young adult and recently served as the Director of Children and Youth Ministry at Clyde’s Chapel Baptist Church in Wendell. Following a call into ministry, he pursued studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Christian Ethics quickly became his favorite subject and he would enthusiastically lend out books to anyone interested. Daniel loved his community and served them every chance he had. His favorite way to enjoy beaches, mountains, and his home was in the company of others. One of Daniel’s greatest joys was learning how to smoke meat. He shared the delicious results of this great hobby and talent with family, friends, and neighbors. \nDaniel and his wife, Jennifer, were married March 4, 2006 and have a son, David. He is also survived by his sister, Christy Saaranen, husband Tim and son Kyle Upchurch of Minnesota. He is preceded in death by his parents, Don Honeycutt and Karen Henderson. \nIn lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Daniel’s honor to the Charity Rebuild Center.
