It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rumel Taylor Bradt, who left us on June 16, 2024. Rumel was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt and a cherished friend. An inspiring individual who touched the lives of many.

Born on March 1, 1942 in Coats, North Carolina, to Vergie Stevens Taylor and Alex (Red) Taylor. Rumel lived a life full of love, kindness, and dedication. She spent her years spreading joy and compassion to everyone she encountered.

Rumel was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert A. Bradt, son Joe A. Denning and brother Robert E. Taylor. Their memory held a special place in her heart, and she always spoke of them with love and admiration.

Rumel is survived by her daughter Barbara Bedard (Joel), sisters Hazel Taylor Stephenson and Debbie Taylor Elder, and several nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by friends and family. Her family would like to thank the staff at Windsor Point, especially the members of Royal Treatment and Angel McLeoud and her team of angels for taking such great care of Rumel during her time there.
