In Loving Memory of

Alfredo Lino Castro

Raleigh
,
North Carolina
Died:
April 9, 2025

Born on September 23, 1950, in Mexico City, Alfredo (Al) Castro was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. As a young child, Alfredo moved to the US, where he lived in Chicago until early adulthood. Chicago living gave Alfredo two of his greatest loves: Chicago Pizza and Wrigley Field! At the age of 17, Alfredo moved to California where he served in the United States Army as a paratrooper. His service took him from Alhambra, CA to Fort Bragg, North Carolina where he served in the 3rd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment. During his free time, Alfredo found enjoyment in playing the Saxiphone and was an avid lover of jazz. There was nothing cooler than Alfredo in his hat, playing the sax!
It is rare that someone in this world has the same caring, kind, and understanding nature that Alfredo carried. That caring nature left an impact on everyone that Alfredo met and made him truly unforgettable to his family, friends, and the world.
Alfredo is survived by his 3 sisters, 3 children, 3 grandchildren and wife of 15 years.
