Angela Renee Scott

Angela “Angie” Renee Scott, 56, passed away on July 28, 2025. Angie was born on February 22, 1969, in Germany, while her father proudly served in the U.S. Army. She was the beloved daughter of Jim Scott and Barbara Riggs.

Angie spent her early childhood in Knoxville, Tennessee, before moving with her family to Raleigh, North Carolina, in the late 70s. She was a graduate of Millbrook High School.

She is survived by her brother, Greg Scott; her stepfather, Lester Riggs; and her devoted partner, Derek Brantley. Angie was preceded in death by her father, Jim Scott, and her mother, Barbara Riggs.
