Judd Wilson Daniel, Jr.

Judd Wilson Daniel, Jr., 86, went to his heavenly home on May 19, 2025. Wilson was the son of Judd Wilson Daniel, Sr., and Ethel Haywood Alford of Rolesville, N.C. He graduated from Rolesville High School in 1957. He was an outstanding athlete, assisting his basketball team to the Wake County Championship. Wilson was also selected to play in the Wake County All Star Football Game. After graduation he attended East Carolina College.
Wilson's career was in hospitality management. He began his career with Holiday Inn in Florence, S. C. He eventually moved to San Jose, California, where he oversaw the management of five restaurants.
Wilson loved sports, reading, movies and spending time with friends and family.
Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Judd Daniel, Sr., his wife, Scarlett Hunnicutt Daniel, and his brother, James
Harold Daniel.
He is survived by his sister, Anne Daniel Bunn of Orlando, Fl, nephew Michael Bunn of Ocala, Fl, niece Cindi B. Junkins of St. Cloud, Fl , and niece Denise B. Francisco of Orlando, Fl, as well as many cousins.
A heartfelt thank you to faithful friends, Maggie Green, Donna James, and Peggy Cooke for their loving support through difficult times.
A memorial service with be held September 6, 2025.
