Donald Jenkins

Donald Jenkins, 75, of Raleigh, NC lost his lengthy battle with glioblastoma on May 25, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Barbara. He leaves two sons, Chris (Sylvana) of Alberta, Canada and Matt (Ramon) of Oakland, CA. He is also survived by his granddaughter Sophia of Alberta, Canada, sister Barbara Sharp of Lake Helen, FL and nieces Colleen Froitland (Scott) of Phoenix. AZ and Carol Hora of Oviedo, FL.

Don was born in Buffalo, NY on November 14, 1947. He also lived in Anaheim, CA and Oil City, PA before moving to Raleigh in 1985. He retired from the US Postal Service after a 30 year career as a letter carrier.

Don always loved a good home renovation project, swimming, and golfing. He also loved to travel with Barbara, visiting many places such as Alaska, California, Canada, Hawaii, St. Lucia, and many others.

Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

As per Don’s wishes, there will be no service, but we encourage you to honor his memory in your own way to celebrate his beautiful life.
