1926 – 2026

Judith Lynne Caster (nee Bergstrom), age 99 one week short of 100, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Judy lived a long, wonderful life filled with laughter, love, and a deep devotion to her family.

Judy was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Thomas Caster. She was the proud and dedicated mother of Lynne, Madeline (Mauny), and Mary Swan (Gussie). She was also the cherished "Grandma Judy" to Stefan, Raphel (Raph), Jenny, Thomas (Tommy), Jack, and Madeline, and a proud great-grandmother to ten adoring great-grandchildren.

Truly proud of her Swedish heritage, Judy infused her life with a great sense of fun and a quick wit, always ready to share a good joke and bring a smile to those around her. She possessed a lifelong passion for travel, cultures, the arts, and was a gifted storyteller. Her vivid memories of her life, travels and her rich family history will be treasured and kept alive in her family's stories forever.

Judy will be deeply and sadly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
