Robert “Rob” Alexander Walters, age 70, of Wilmington, NC, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025, at The William M. Dunlap Center for Caring (Hospice Home) in Raleigh, NC, surrounded by the love of his family.
Rob was born on May 17, 1955, in Fayetteville, NC, to Thomas Harold Walters and JoAnn Watkins Walters. He grew up in Fayetteville, where he graduated from Terry Sanford High School in 1973. He will be dearly missed and forever cherished by his children—Brent Walters, Chad Walters, Jordan Walters, and Addison Walters—who were his greatest pride. Rob is also survived by his brother Ed (Diane) Walters, sister Susan (Bobby) Puryear, sister Beth (Ark) Matthews, and brother Chris (Heather) Walters.
