Sergeant First Class William Victor, U.S. Army (Ret.), 75, passed away on October 22, 2026. Born on February 21, 1951, in Marinette, Wisconsin, to the late George Victor and Vivian Grace Victor (née Leonard), William was one of twelve children. William lived a life defined by quiet strength, profound dedication to his family, and his love for travel.

William served with distinction in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Sergeant First Class (E-7) before his well-earned military retirement. His dedication to service continued long after taking off the uniform; he went on to serve as an Army civilian communications specialist, dedicating his career to keeping our nation’s forces connected, equipped, and mission-ready.

Outside of his service, William was an adventurous spirit who loved traveling the world, exploring new cultures, and gathering memories across the globe. He carried the pride of his Wisconsin roots wherever life took him, most visibly through his lifelong loyalty to the Green Bay Packers. Yet of all the roles he held, none brought him greater joy than being a grandfather. His grandchildren were his absolute pride and joy, and his steady support, love, and encouragement will remain a permanent foundation in each of their lives.

William is survived by his four children, Vivian Grace Victor, Jayna Victor (Stephen Apple), Eric Victor (Margaret), and Jeffrey Victor (Teresa); his four beloved grandchildren, Jens, Annika, Ryan, and Ben; and his surviving brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Vivian Victor, along with several of his siblings.

An intimate private service will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026. A memorial service and interment with military honors will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
