Alexander Pierson

On January 29th, 2022, Alexander Shakiime Pierson was struck by a vehicle and died shortly after in UNC Chapel Hill after succumbing to his injuries. He was 30 years old.
Alexander is survived by his mother Twyla Waffo and his step-father Olivier Waffo of Jamestown ; his son Amari Pierson of High Point; his sister Tonaricka McLellan of High Point and his brother Joel Waffo of Jamestown; his grandmother Lois Brooks and his “Auntie” Ayanna Pierson of Kernersville; favorite cousins, aunts, uncles, and “others”.
Alexander was born on March 18, 1991 in High Point, NC. If anyone knew Alex he loved music and drawing. In fact, some of his art became tattoos on his arm. Alex loved playing the guitar, fishing, skateboarding, traveling, and working on cars with his cousin “Mo”. Many times you could find Alex cooking and his experiments in the kitchen were almost always flavorful! He loved people and stayed in contact with many he met but he really loved spending time with his closest family and friends.
