Green Burial
A burial option that returns your loved one to the earth naturally, without embalming, non-biodegradable materials, or a concrete burial vault. Recognized by the Green Burial Council, the national nonprofit organization that sets the standard for this practice.

For Families Who Want a Burial that Honors the Earth
Green burial allows your loved one's body to return to the earth naturally, without embalming chemicals, a metal casket, or a concrete vault. Your loved one is dressed and placed in an unfinished pine box, basket, or shroud then buried directly in the ground.
Families choose this option for many reasons. Some are guided by environmental values. Some find comfort in the simplicity and naturalness of the process. Others appreciate that it avoids the cost of an outer burial container or a traditional grave marker. Whatever your reason, we are recognized by the Green Burial Council and meet their standards for this practice.
A natural return to the earth is no less meaningful than any other way of saying goodbye. We treat this service with the same care and attention we give every family.
Everything Included, from the First Call to Burial
Your loved one is brought into our care, dressed and placed in an unfinished pine box, basket, or shroud by our own staff, and transported to the cemetery for a natural burial. We handle the death certificates and all required paperwork on your behalf.
