The solidification process takes cremated remains and transforms them into 40 to 60 stones that can be held, shared among family members, scattered in meaningful places over time, or kept together as a collection.

Solidified remains can be added to any cremation service, including alkaline hydrolysis, and can be arranged at any point, even if the cremation has already taken place. It does not matter whether City of Oaks performed the original service. If this is something your family is considering, we are happy to help you get started whenever you are ready.

Choosing this option is about finding a way to stay connected to your loved one in the years ahead. There is no wrong way to grieve, and no wrong way to remember someone.

Everything included, from the first call to the stones placed in your hands

Cremation takes place in our own facility, by our own staff. Once cremation is complete, your loved one's remains are sent to our trusted solidification partner, where they are carefully transformed into stones over several weeks. We coordinate every step of that process on your behalf.
