Edward founded City of Oaks to make funeral arrangements simpler and more transparent for families across North Carolina. With 14 years in the industry, he's built the business around one belief: real people helping real people.

B. Somer Addison is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer who has served as City of Oaks' location manager since 2019. She's dedicated to adapting her approach to best serve the families of North Carolina.

Jessica joined City of Oaks in 2020 while completing her Funeral Service Education degree and is now a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer managing the PreNeed Program. She's known for her compassionate, thoughtful guidance with the families she serves.

Gabriel joined City of Oaks seeking a more purposeful path in funeral service, rooted in a simple belief: caring for your neighbors when things get hard. He became a licensed Funeral Director in fall 2024 and earned his Funeral Service License in summer 2025.

Ashley Silva-Mandujano se unió a City of Oaks en 2024 con la meta de convertirse en directora de funeraria con licencia. Le apasiona servir a la comunidad, incluyendo a las familias hispanas y latinoamericanas.

Olivia Romero joined City of Oaks in July 2025 after earning her funeral service license that spring. She's passionate about supporting families through end-of-life arrangements and growing alongside her colleagues.

Michael, a Durham, NC native, brings compassion and steady care to families navigating grief. He enjoys spending time with his family, riding horses, and cheering on football on Sundays.

Amy Sharir joined City of Oaks in late 2025, bringing experience in mortuary transport where she comforted hundreds of families with care and respect. She's now pursuing her funeral service degree while serving as Crematory Manager.

Haleigh joined City of Oaks in 2026 after earning her Social Work degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin, bringing valuable clinical experience alongside her education. She uses her gift for compassion to support families with dignity and understanding during life's most difficult moments.
