Amber Rae Johnston

A kind, gentle soul passed on. She wasn't rich or famous, she wasn't even what most would consider successful. She deserved better than what life dealt her, but she played the cards without complaint. She was loved by many in her hometown and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Her name was Amber, a daughter, a mother, grandmother and friend. We will miss her the rest of the days we have here on earth. Amber passed away sometime in August of 2021 under unknown circumstances. We never gave up the search to bring her home. Born March 5, 1985 in Greensburg, PA, she was the daughter of Sharon (Baker) Johnston and the late Timothy Scott Johnston. In addition to her mother, Amber is survived by her children, Dakota Rhome, Nevaeh , Courtney, and Jeffrey Thomas, and Noelle (Thomas) Luther. She is also survived by a grandchild that she never got to meet. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Amber will be laid to rest beside her beloved Grandma Bridgee and Pap Pap (Gene and Bridget Baker) at Hillview Cemetery in Greensburg , PA. Amber would love you to visit her on top of the hill where she will rest for eternity.
