Suzanne (Suzie) Wolf Coffland

Suzanne Wolf Coffland, 55, of Cary, NC died January 1, 2022 after her courageous battle with cancer.
Suzie was born June 25, 1966, in New York, NY to David and Andrée Wolf. She grew up in Park Ridge, NJ, and graduated from Grand Blanc High School (Michigan) and received a Bachelor of Arts from Alma College and a Masters of Accounting from North Carolina State University. After graduating from NCSU, she worked for Arthur Andersen and later Quintiles. In 2004, she gave up the "corporate world" to follow one of her true passions, starting Suzie Wolf Photography.
She met her husband, Matt, through mutual friends - yes, a blind date. They married in 2003 and enjoyed traveling the world and taking pictures of once in a lifetime moments. Her favorite destination was the Galapagos Islands where she captured amazing photos of giant tortoises, blue-footed boobies, penguins, and iguanas. She was a life-long swimmer, a "dog person", and a chocolate lover.
She will be remembered for her kind and generous heart. She offered her home, her time, and her support to many beloved friends. She nurtured friendships by always being there when needed. She took great care when given the opportunity - and responsibility - to capture special family portraits. It has been said she could fill a stadium with all the people she has touched.
She is survived by her husband, Matt; her parents, David and Andrée; her sister, Nicole and her husband Steve of Wilmington, NC; and her nieces, Rivkah of Atlanta, GA and Shira of Asheville, NC.
There will be no memorial service, but a celebration of life at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Transitions Lifecare (formerly Hospice of Wake County) at 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607 or The Nature Conservancy; Attn: Treasury; 4245 N. Fairfax Drive, Suite 100; Arlington, VA 22203.
