Jane Prince Clayton

Jane Prince Clayton 69 of Angier died Tuesday February 1st 2022 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington after suffering a massive stroke.
She was born August 15th 1952 in Wake County to the late Charles Douglas Prince and Annie Laura Prince. She was preceded in death by her husband Basil Lee Clayton in 2014. Jane enjoyed spending time with her daughter, son in law, granddaughters and friends. Her granddaughters were the apples of her eye. She was a die hard NC State fan and never missed a game. She traveled to many places with her brothers, sister and sisters in law seeing many beautiful sights over the years. She loved her family dearly including all of her grand dogs who she spoiled rotten every chance she got. She would go above and beyond to do anything for those she loved.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday February 9th 2022 at 2:00 pm at Kipling Methodist Church in Kipling. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the home following the service.
Survivors include her daughter Samantha Richter Cox and husband Martin Cox of Angier and her granddaughters Carley Cox and Ashley Cox of Angier. A brother Charles Prince and wife Esther of New Hill, a brother Michael Prince and Ann of Sanford, a sister Anne Knott of New Hill, an uncle Carlisle Franks of Raleigh, an aunt Ruby Bingham of Virginia and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
