Peter Villano Jr.

Peter Villano, aged 75, passed away suddenly in Raleigh, NC on March 8, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Donna. He is proceeded in death by his son Peter III, his father Peter Sr and his mother Elisabeth. He is survived by his daughter Elisabeth, daughter Donna, son Steven and daughter-in-law Barbara. He also is survived by his grandchildren Courtney, Joseph, Christopher and Kaitlin.

Peter was born in Brooklyn, NY and is one of 7 siblings.

He moved to Long Island, NY where he established several different businesses including Island Wide Landscaping which helped to employee several of his colleagues from Pepsi Co that had been laid off during a strike. Peter and Donna then relocated to Hillsborough, NC where he spent time creating Villano's Unfamous Marinade. He was successful at selling at local farmer's markets, and eventually local stores. He made a name for himself, and never knew a stranger.

Peter was a loving and devoted husband to Donna, and a role model to his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Cary, NC on March 26th at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to either the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
