Dennis Cook

On the morning of May 12, 2022, Dennis Cook of New Hill lost his long battle with cancer at the age of 69.

Dennis was a native of Newport News, Virginia and a graduate of both William & Mary and Roger Williams University. He had a long career in the IT industry primarily at Nortel and Honeywell. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell, and his mother, Carrie Lee.

Dennis’s main passion in life was his family. He loved being a grandfather to Zachary, Brayden, and Rojay more than anything in the world. He will be greatly missed by the surviving family members: Rick Dixon of New Hill, son Adam Cook and wife, Erin of Cary, NC; daughter Angela Foster and husband, Robert of Newport News, VA; son Daniel Cook and girlfriend, Lauren Nelbach of Newport News, VA; brother Charles Cook and wife, Lan of Newport News, VA; and former spouse Sally Cook of Farmville, VA.
