Johnnie “Mike” Michael Marshall

Johnnie Michael Marshall, 64, of Spring Hope passed away suddenly on Friday, May 13, 2022.

Johnnie was born on August 20, 1957 to Johnny and Jean Marshall of Spring Hope. In 1980, Johnnie met Valerie Johnson and they were married in 1986. Johnnie and Valerie went on to have a son, Michael.

When not spending time with his family he could often be found hunting, fishing, trapping or tending to his garden.

Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Jean Marshall; a sister, Sue Marshall. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Valerie Marshall; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Logan Marshall; grandchildren Madelyn and Andrew Marshall; sister-in-law, Sarah Johnson all of Spring Hope. A brother, Steve Marshall of Zebulon. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and more family and friends. As well as his best companion and sidekick his beloved dog, TJ.

There will be a graveside service on Wednesday , May 18, 2022 at 11 AM to honor him. The service will be at the Batchelor-Whitfield graveyard 8171 Seven Paths Rd. Spring Hope, North Carolina 27882.
