Lois Eason

Mrs. Barbara Lois Puckett Eason, age 72, of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022. She was born February 15, 1950, in Carrollton, Georgia, and spent most of her life in the Carrollton area. On October 11, 1969, she married Bobby Ray Eason and settled in Carrollton, where they raised their daughter Jennifer. In 2012, she and Bobby moved to North Carolina to be closer to their daughter and granddaughter, and she enjoyed meeting new friends and neighbors there. During her later years, her favorite activities were looking at pictures and sharing memories, reading books, going for walks along the greenway, and playing games with her granddaughter Naomi.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband Bobby and her brother Steve Puckett. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Richard Koch of Raleigh; her granddaughter, Naomi; her siblings and in-laws Elaine Cole, Tara Saucier, Mitchell and Diane Puckett, Jimmy Puckett, and Glenda Puckett; and several nieces and nephews. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in her memory be made to Transitions Life Care of Raleigh, North Carolina, or the Alzheimer’s Association.
