Catherine McCorkle

Catherine (Cathie) McCorkle passed away on September 19, 2022. Cathie was born August 23,1945. She was a unique person. Cathie made friends everywhere she went and looked for opportunities to have fun. Cathie loved sports! She especially loved the NC State Wolfpack. She would watch and cheer for them teams no matter the sport, football, basketball, or baseball. When the Hurricanes came to NC, she quickly became a fan. She started working at PNC arena so she could be close to the action. She enjoyed spending time with friends whether it was playing cards and going out. Cathie will be missed by those who knew her and loved her.
