Cynthia Appling

Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, and Sister.

Cyndi is survived by her husband, James Appling of Raleigh; two sons, Jim Appling of Raleigh, and TJ Appling and his wife Amanda of Raleigh; granddaughter, River; her brother, Charles Trutza and his children Adam and Lori of Gastonia; her step mother, Eva Lowe and her children April and Andrew of Peachtree; her mother in law, Evelyn Appling and her children David, Samantha, and Danielle of Murphy.

Cyndi went to be with her Lord on September 24th, 2022.

Cyndi was preceded in death by her father, Charles Robert Trutza, and mother, Kathrine Rita Monnoly. Cyndi was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and was a long time resident of the Murphy area.

Cyndi had a warmth that was infectious to everyone that had the opportunity to meet her. She filled rooms with love and light, bringing joy to those around her and never met an animal she didn't adore. She was an extraordinary person that prayed for her family every day, was loved fiercely and will be missed dearly.
