Virginia King

On Monday, September 26th, 2022, heaven gained an angel.

Virginia Ruth (George) King passed away unexpectedly. She is survived by her daughter GeGe, son-in-law Andy, Grandchildren and spouses Nicole Cook, Keith & Kerry Cook and Vanessa & David Buchanan, Erin French, Josh Davis and Abby French. She also had 8 great grandchildren: Addi, Letti, Luci and Sonni Buchanan, Kaiden and Michaela Bobroski, Jude Cook and Raelynn Davis.
Virginia was preceded by her parents and siblings, Robert and Madeline George, Bill George and Charles George. Her remaining siblings and family include James George of Huntington, PA, Kenneth George of Ft. Meade, FL, Janet Donaldson of Martinsburg, PA, Tom, Linda and Karen George of Cassville, PA, Emma George of Northern Virginia and numerous nieces, nephews. To those who were considered family she was referred to as Grammy.
She was a 1949 graduate of Robertsdale High School and attended secretarial school before moving to the Metropolitan DC area, and was also a member of the Saxton Eastern Star. Most recently she resided in North Carolina with GeGe and Andy.
Virginia lived an amazing life surrounded by love! She worked for the airlines for many years and had the opportunity to travel extensively. Always willing to share a story, a smile and her love. She will be deeply missed.
