Russell E. Krahnert

Russell E. Krahnert 93, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, Sept. 28 2022 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst NC. Russell died from Covid and other medical complications.
Corporal Russell Krahnert served in the Army Corps of Engineers during the Korean War.

After the loss of his first wife Ruth, he remarried Naomi (who is deceased) they moved from NJ to Southern Pines NC in 1987.

Russell is survived by his children Aaron, daughter-in-law Joyce, Susan, Carol, and two stepdaughters Sena and Dana.
A memorial gathering was held on Sept. 29, 2022.

At his request, Russell's ashes were placed with his wife Naomi.
He will be greatly missed by friends and family.
