Barbara Ann Johnson Crutchfield

On September 30, 2022, Barbara Ann Johnson Crutchfield, loving mother and grandmother passed away at UNC Rex Raleigh after a long and full life of 83 years. Barbara is survived by her family Lee Crutchfield, James Kent, Kristal and Jeff Nelson and her grandchildren Nicholas and Sam.

Barbara was known for her wonderful cooking which she loved to share with her neighbors, family, and friends. After a successful career in real estate, she became an artist. She started by staging and decorating homes and painting ceramics but her most beautiful work was on canvas. Her legacy is all of the artwork she shared with friends and family. She had a sensitive generous spirit who will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
