Frances Ayers

Frances “Fran” Ellen Manley Ayers, 72, of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away at home on October 3,
2022, after a battle with cancer. Fran worked at Wellington Puritan Mills in Pilot Mountain and then
studied to become a Phlebotomist. She retired from Alamance Regional Hospital in Burlington, NC and
worked part-time at CVS during her retirement. Frances left behind her daughter Angela Simones
Inman, grandson Thaddeus Kellar Hines, son David Lee Moore Jr., daughter-in law Erin Hayes Lugo
granddaughters Kylah Shyanne Moore and Ava Quinn Lugo. Fran is also survived by her sisters Patricia
Gruber “Pat”, Marsha Lee, Melinda Manley, and Violet Mutters.

To honor Fran’s memory, we are holding a celebration of her life on October 15, 2022, at 4PM at
Guilford Mackintosh Park 1345 NC-61, Whitsett, NC 27377. We invite anyone who knew Fran to attend
and remember her life.
