David “Keith” Smith

David “Keith” Smith passed away suddenly on October 27, 2022 at his home. Keith had a large love for music and was a talented musician excelling at the guitar, singing, and song writing. Music was a part of his life for over 35 years and during that time he performed with many local bands. Keith was an avid sports fan and always looked forward to cheering on his son’s football games, the UNC Tarheels, the Dallas Cowboys and any wrestling match that could be watched. Keith had a large personality and always found a way to bring a smile to the face of those around him. His never ending supply of jokes would keep you in stitches. Keith was preceded in death by his father, David William Smith, and grandparents. He is survived by two sons, Johnathon Hunter Smith (18), and Michael Blake Smith (16), his mama, Maxine Smith, special friend, Tina Haley and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that love him and will miss him dearly. A celebration of life is planned for a later date.
