Janie Husketh Best

Janie Husketh Best, 74, passed away on October 31st, 2022 peacefully at home. She was born in Durham, the daughter of the late Leonard and Maybelle Husketh.

Mrs. Best was a retired teacher for the Durham Public Schools System. She loved her children and grandchildren. The beach always had a special place in her heart as she found peace living there.

Mrs. Best was preceded in death by her husband Danny Best Sr. and son Jaimie Best. She is survived by her children Danny Best Jr., Chris Best, and Gena Hall (Greg); Grandchildren Aaron Best and Cameron Hall; as well as her sister Pearl Jennings.
