Robert Ramon Wix

Robert Ramon Wix passed away on March 9, 2023 at the age of 64. Born February 6, 1959 in Rockingham, NC, he had resided for the last 7 years with his wife, Lisa Mitchell, of Raleigh. He is survived by his wife, stepdaughter, Molly Mitchell, her husband, Byron and grandson, Wilson, and one stepson, Charlie Mitchell. He was very loved by Lisa’s entire family, including his mother-in-law, Peggy Sumner “Mama Peggy”, sister-in-law, Carmen Sumner and brother-in-law, Bradley Sumner. Two very special friends that he called brothers also survive him- Devin Ward and Nick Newkirk. We are so happy to have had him in our lives. He was kind, funny and loved life! We are saddened that he left this earth too early.

Service to be held Sunday, March 19th at Forest Hills Baptist Church-201 Dixie Trail, Raleigh. Visitation will be from 1:30pm-2:30pm with service to follow. Reception will be held after service.
