William "Bill" Riordan

William Riordan 76, of Raleigh, NC died on June 16, 2023.

Born in Montclair, NJ, Bill grew up in Caldwell, NJ.

He began his career as a school teacher in Jacksonville, FL. He coached soccer and was the proud coach of the Duval County soccer team at James Weldon Johnson Middle School. Bill graduated from James Caldwell High School in West Caldwell, NJ in 1964. He continued his education at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, FL where he graduated with a BA in History. Bill went on to complete his MA at the University of North Florida in 1972.

Bill lived in Raleigh, NC for the past 40 years where he was an account executive. He enjoyed tennis and the Carolina Hurricanes. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Donna Riordan and two daughters, Allison Riordan (Jeffrey Junker) and Katherine King (Matthew King), and grandchildren Owen, Jakob, Collin and Jenna.
