Michael M. Giberson

Michael M. Giberson, 81 of Fuquay Varina NC, formerly of Port Orange FL and Olean NY passed away on Wednesday, September 13. He was the son of the late Robert and Dorothy Allen Giberson. On September 7, 1963 he married the former Nancy Gillette.

A 1960 graduate of Portville Central School where he exceled in track, basketball and especially baseball where he threw 3 no hitters in a row. His love for baseball continued with his management of the Olean entry into the Alle-Cat baseball league and his organization of the Olean Twilight baseball league. He considered himself the #1 New York Yankees fan and best Buffalo Bills fan.

Mike served in the US Army from 1966 - 1968.

Mike is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy Gillette Giberson, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews as well great great nieces and nephews to include Camden and Ava Parkins with whom he had a very special bond. Also surviving is his new puppy Buddy. He was greatly loved and will be missed by all of them.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
