Erica Showman

Erica Ann Showman, 35, a resident of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, passed away peacefully September 15, 2023, with her husband Christopher "Chris" James Showman by her side.

Erica was born the only daughter of Earle James "Jim" Jardine, Jr. and Judy Ann Jardine on April 22, 1988, in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. She grew up in the Smyrna, Delaware, area and later moved to Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania. There, she met Chris, the love of her life, who was serving in the United States Marine Corps at the time. With Chris's military career, they relocated first to Jacksonville, North Carolina, then to Quantico, Virginia, and eventually settled in Sneads Ferry, North Carolina. During these years, Erica and Chris welcomed three beautiful children, Christopher James "CJ," Jr., Aria Ann, and Blair Abigail, who adored their mother to the absolute fullest. Erica was such a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and the best friend for whom one could ever ask. She was a diehard sports fan, especially of the Philadelphia Eagles, and a huge animal lover and mother to her three fur babies, Brusto, Dippy, and Scooter. She was predeceased by her father, Jim, and survived by her husband, Chris, her children, her loving family, and so many friends, all of whom miss her tremendously.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023, 4 p.m., at the Holly Ridge, North Carolina, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post
