Margaret Julien McLaughlin

Margaret Julien McLaughlin, 91, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Transitions LifeCare of Raleigh, North Carolina. Born February 17, 1932 in Cook County, Illinois to the late John Julien and Margaret Whitlatch Julien. Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband of 73 years of marriage on August 5, 2023. Margaret was also preceded in death by her brothers John, Harry, Arlen and a sister, Lura.

Margaret is survived by her son, Charles McLaughlin, Jr., of Arizona and her daughter Alice Schafer and husband, David, of Raleigh. She is also survived by her grandchildren Theresa and Monique of Arizona, Sarah Holley and husband, Joshua, Anna Traylor and husband, Dustin, of Raleigh, and 9 great-grandchildren. Margaret is also survived by sisters Katherine Ihms, Sharon Amos, Christina McKenzie, Cynthia Craig, Marie Childers, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the volunteers, aides, nurses, and doctors of Transitions LifeCare Hospice for their compassionate care of Margaret and her family. You will forever be in their hearts.
