Angela Hinton

Angela “Tinkerbell” Long Hinton, 53, born on December 7, 1969, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 15, 2023. Tinkerbell, or “Tink,” as many knew her, is predeceased by her father, William Joseph Long, and survived by her parents, Lloyd and Anita Kennedy, her sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Greg Harrington, her husband Chalmers Hinton, her five wonderful kids, Keely Wooten, Daniel Wooten, Kate Wooten, Chezney Hinton, Gates Hinton, and her dog, Tuxedo Bob. Tink is also, survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, great-nephews, cousins, and numerous friends who were more like family.
Tink was a friend and mother to everyone she met. She was loving, thoughtful, loud – as many know, bickering was her love language. She loved to be in charge and was known for her fabulous cooking. Tink made every occasion special, over the top, and “extra,” widely regarded amongst her family and friends as the holiday queen. She loved the Lord, making a joyful noise with her voice, a good party, and making people smile with her craftiness at VBS, weddings, and other events while utilizing her talents for balloons, hair/makeup, coordinating outfits/t-shirts, and countless others. She loved her family most of all and no matter what she was doing always showed up with a smile on her face and love in her heart.
The Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:30 PM on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at Fuquay-Varina United Methodist Church, 100 S Judd Pkwy SE, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
