Kayla M. Burgos

Kayla Marie Burgos, 29, of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away on November 4th, 2023. Born on February 4th, 1994, Kayla was welcomed by parents Juan Burgos and Bernadette Burgos and siblings JC and Elena. Kayla graduated from Wakefield High School in 2013. Kayla’s interests included music, movies, video games, D&D, and anime. Kayla was a creative artist who wrote stories and drew her own characters. She enjoyed spending time with friends, vacationing with family, baking, and cooking. She experimented with make-up, hair styling, and dressing up in costume. Kayla loved animals, particularly wolves and foxes. She was loving and accepting of all people. Kayla was beautiful, with a sweet smile and curly rings of blonde hair she had since childhood. She was sensitive, feminine, and shy. Kayla was a cherished friend and family member who will be greatly missed. Kayla is survived by her parents, Juan and Bernadette, her brother JC, her nephews, Anthony and Milo, as well as cousins, uncles, aunt and grandparents. Kayla will be welcomed to heaven by her sister Elena, who passed away on August 5th of this year.
