Karen Holloman

On Nov. 13, 2023, Mrs. Karen Holloman of Albertson, NC passed away at her home. She is survived by her mother Betty Landes of Goldsboro and her long time and special friend Shelton Beasley. She is preceded in death by her father Keith Landes and husband Willie Holloman. She leaves behind three children. Miranda Deaver (Johnny), Bryan Jackson and Ashley Jackson. She also leaves behind her grandchildren; Johnny ,Jr. (Sarah), Tyler (Kerrylynn), Kaylee, Madison, Scott and Skylar. She has several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews that will miss her deeply. She also leaves behind her siblings; Philip Landes (Elida) of Dudley, Carl Landes(Theresa) of Lexington, Sherry Batten of Selma and Julie Edwards (Roger) of Princeton.

She really had a talent for sewing and making the dresses and suits for her children when they were small as well as other cute outfits for other small children of our family. She had a special love for dogs too. They were family. She took great pride in decorating her home and loved making her curtains. She was a wonderful baker too. She will be missed dearly and a void will be left in our hearts.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at the home of her mother, Betty Landes, on December 9 at 1:00 pm with a meal to follow. We ask that you bring a covered dish if you are able.
