Debra Jones

Debra Ann Jones, age 65, went home to be with the Lord on November 27th, 2023. She was surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her father Ralph Long and her sister Sharon Long.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 6th, 2024 at 2:00p.m. at Greater Light Baptist Church in Lillington, NC. Officiating will be Rev. James O'Brien.
She was born on October 17th, 1958, in New York to Ralph and Mary Long. She moved to North Carolina as a young child.
She loved Jesus, her church, crafts and to color. She was a member of Greater Light Baptist Church.
Debra was the proud mother of three children and grandmother to five and great grandmother to three. She treasured every moment in her role as Nanny/Nana and loved them to the moon and back.
Debra is survived by her husband Jessie Jones; mother Mary Long; siblings Harold Kirkman and Marsha Ford (Chuck); children Kristi Byrd (Chris), Joseph Lipscomb (Linda), and Josh Jones; grandchildren Katlyn (Stephen), Kylie Mann (Hunter), Amanda (Phillip), Ryan and Hunter Byrd; great grandchildren Izzy, Ellie and Lillah; several nieces and nephews.
