Josephine Eads Simpson

Josephine Eads Simpson, born February 9th, 1936 passed from this life to her Heavenly home on December 26, 2023 at home in Cary, NC.

Jo is survived by her daughters Terri Manns (Voris) of Apex, NC, Nancy Simpson (Michael) of Holly Springs, NC, sons David (Sandra) of Kernersville, NC , Mike (Christie) of Scott Depot, WV and Steve (Sherry) of Charleston, WV. Jo had 9 grandchildren. Jordan Simpson of Manhattan, NY, Matthew (Kerri) Simpson of Morgantown, WV Jessica (Steven) Hodges of Kernersville, NC, Dustin, Alison and Noah Simpson of Scott Depot, WV, Sarah (Jacob) Stump of St. Augustine, FL, Heather (Matthew) Snedegar of Liberty, WV, Austin Simpson of Charleston, WV & step-grandson Laden (Cara) Mullins of Poca WV. Jo had 4 great grandchildren Gavin, Jocelyn, Vivian, Rhys, and 2 step-great grandsons Jonathan and Mattix. One sister Ruth Dolin of Raleigh, NC and brother Edward Eads of Smoot, WV.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert H. Simpson, parents Cal and Mabel Stogdon Eads and one grandchild, Maria Simpson.

Josephine called Nitro and Cross Lanes, WV her home until the past 15 years where she resided in Cary, NC to be near her daughters. A family memorial graveside service on May 24, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Tyler Mountain Cemetery in Cross Lanes, WV.
