Keda Harvell Olive

Keda Harvell Olive, 79, born on March 2, 1945 in Raleigh, passed peacefully in her home on January 17, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Autry Olive Sr.; parents, Erma Wilkins Harvell and Roberson Ab Horton Harvell; and by her brothers Richard Ab Harvell and Willie Michael Harvell.

She is survived by her brother Smitty Roberson Harvell and wife Debra; niece Kelly Bush and nephews Todd Harvell, Randall Harvell, Victor Harvell, Will Harvell, and Austin Harvell; and many loving friends.

She was a driven career woman who exceeded in sales. Her hobbies included taking wonderful care of her cats, baking beautiful cakes, being a talented seamstress, and volunteering at her church’s preschool. She also had strong allegiance to the Wolfpack, Dale Earnhardt Sr., and Dwight Yoakam. Her family and friends will dearly miss her spunky attitude, strong will, deep compassion, and sense of humor.

A memorial service will be held at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 2:30 PM and is open to all that have known and loved Keda.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Fund - 4415 Pleasant Grove Church Road - Raleigh, NC 27613.

Keda will surely be missed by all who knew her.
