Steven Dale Hicks

Steven Dale Hicks, 73, of Wendell, NC went home to be with the Lord Thursday, January 25, 2024 succumbing to heart failure. He died peacefully at home with family. Steve is survived by his wife, Brona Aiken Hicks; two daughters, Mrs. Trisha Hicks Hathaway (David) of Stantonsburg, NC and Mrs. Lauren Hicks Kellum (Keith) of Wendell, NC; two granddaughters, Taylor Marie Hathaway and Makinzy Green Hathaway; two grandsons, Bennett Charles Kellum and Hudson Edward Kellum; brother, Michael Ted Hicks of Orlando, FL.; and two cousins, Mrs. Terri Coltrane Smith (Darrell) of Colfax, NC and Mrs. Dawn Coltrane Smith (Tommy) of Kernersville, NC. Steve was born to the late Ted Gideon Hicks and Maxine Pierce Hicks April 10, 1950 in High Point, NC. A closed memorial will be held by the immediate family Saturday, February 10, 2024.
