Carolyn Harbin Douglas

Carolyn Harbin Douglas, 78, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 26, 2024 in her sleep. She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, cousin, friend, and a respected employee of GTE Directories.

Carolyn was born in Anderson, South Carolina and moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in her twenties. There, she married Mike Douglas and had her daughter, Lisa. Carol, as she was known to her friends, loved her family, her friends, walks on the beach, and watching football.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Douglas Landers (Jason), her brother, Carl Harbin, her granddaughters, Rachel and Abigail Landers, and her cousins, Opal Gillespie (Charles), Deana Wynkoop, Barbara Land Bell, Troy Land and many others who will miss her dearly.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church of Chapel Hill Alms Fund.

A private family memorial service will be held in South Carolina this spring.
