Jeffrey Burton

Raleigh, North Carolina -- Jeffrey Robert Burton, 59, of Raleigh died suddenly on February 28, 2024. He was born on September 12, 1964 in Winston-Salem, NC. Jeffrey was raised in Raleigh and graduated from Elon University with a Bachelor’s degree in communication. He was a successful entrepreneur with several business ventures, including real estate development.

Jeffrey loved his friends and family and especially enjoyed spending time with them at sporting events and his favorite place, Indian Beach, North Carolina.

He is survived by his mother Elizabeth A. Burton, sister Angela B. O’Connell, nephews Chadwick (Elyse) O’Connell and Chandler (Sarah) O’Connell, as well as great-niece Quinn and great-nephew Maverick. He is also survived by his special friend Kim Blasing.

He is preceded in death by his father Robert M. Burton, his close friend and business partner Rose Schwetz.
