Brigitta Ingalls

Brigitta Hoigt Ingalls, 91, went to be with her husband, Louis Wayne Ingalls, on what would have been their 56th wedding anniversary, June 9, 2024.
Born in Wiesbaden, Germany, Brigitta started her career working at the Söhnlein Rheingold champagne factory where her favorite perk of the job was champagne served in the afternoons. Later, Brigitta moved to Bonn where she worked as a secretary for the German Department of Defense.
Brigitta first came to the United States in 1963. She traveled between the US and Germany before eventually meeting her husband in Washington, DC. Brigitta and Louis Wayne were married June 9, 1968, and ultimately settled in Raleigh, NC where Brigitta finished her career working for the law firm Poyner Spruill.
