Trisha Hasch was an accomplished urban planning professional with a passion for improving the lives of those less fortunate. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Trisha Joined the Navy after high school. After completing her service, she lived in California for a time and then moved to Boston to attend Northeastern University where she earned her Bachelors in English and Literature Magna cum laude. She worked for Eastern Research Group, an environmental consulting firm, where due to her organizational and leadership skills she quickly became a Vice President managing a department that conducted technical conferences. In her spare time, she emersed herself in community outreach work at Trinity Church in Boston and other nonprofits.

Deciding to pursue her interest in helping underprivileged and marginalized communities, she attended Tufts University and received her Master’s degree in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning. Trisha put her new skills to work for the City of Boston as Senior Program Manager in the Department of Neighborhood Development. After 7 years, she relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina and continued her neighborhood redevelopment efforts as an Urban Planner and Project Manager at the Department of City Planning. She received an award from the Raleigh Downtown Alliance and was highly respected in her community.

Trisha will always be fondly remembered by friends and colleagues for her unwavering interest in helping others, her intelligence and ever-present optimism.
