Debra Ann Knott Brunck

Debra Ann Knott Brunck, born December 8, 1958, passed away on September 4, 2024, after an extended illness. She is predeceased by her parents, Billy H. Knott and Peggy S. Carthen, and her step-parents, Arthur and Theresa Holmes, and her brother, Maurice Lee Wright. She is survived by her husband, Patrick Brunck, sister, Teressa Green (David Sykes) and her favorite cousin/friend/coffee buddy, Phyllis Dixon. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Tracy Thompson (David), nieces, Shannon Wright, Christina Yates, Chelsey Lyon (Chris) and nephews, Dustin Wright and Cameron Green, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews. Debra loved to DJ to music on the internet, and make friends while chatting. She loved her little chihuahua, Butterball. She will be missed by us all. Thank you to the doctors, nurses and Healthcare staff at Wake Med Trauma for your loving care of Debra over the past few weeks. She was a tough case but did not suffer in your care.
