Brian Robert Jordan

Brian R. Jordan, 51, passed away unexpectedly of a medical event on October 23, 2024. Brian was a resident of the Research Triangle Park area in Durham, NC, and his home was Morgantown, WV.

Brian’s studied chemical engineering at WVU and received his doctorate at Virginia Tech. He was proud to be a chemist, working for various pharmaceutical companies.

Brian’s humor and unique personality endeared others to him. He was a deep thinker who enjoyed questioning the workings of the world. Brian also dearly loved his cats, Robes and Grey Kitty.

He is survived by his parents, Connie and David Jordan; his siblings, Jodie Jordan Scott (John Scott) and Jeff Jordan; and many other loving family members and friends.

He is proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents, Patricia and Robert Jordan and his maternal grandparents, Ruth and Paul McCallister.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, we know that Brian would have appreciated a donation for any cat rescue near you.
