Robert Samuel "Sam" Harrison

Robert Samuel “Sam” Harrison originally from Spruce Pine, NC, passed away on November 08, 2024, after battling cancer. Born January 7, 1952, to the late Ernest Harrison and Bea Duncan Harrison.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Wayne Harrison. Sam was a graduate of Harris High School and served in the US Air Force before graduating from Mayland Community College. He was a Volkswagen enthusiast, self-taught musician, singer, songwriter, and Carolina Panther Fan.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Jeremy of McDonough, GA, Brandee (Randall Rounds) of Hickory, NC, and Auby (Bethany Bare) of Jonas Ridge, NC; grandchildren Dylan of McDonough, GA, Kyndsey and Maizee Rounds of Hickory, NC, and Ariel Banner and Julius of Jonas Ridge, NC; sisters Jeannie (Dennis Vance) of Salisbury, NC and Lois Anne (James Duncan) of Burnsville, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
