Edie Ann Segon

Edie Ann Segon, 68 of Hanover Township, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield NC. On Wednesday December 18th., 2024. Surrounded by her loving family.

Edie was the daughter of the late Richard "Dick" Emmett and Maureen "Boney" Emmett. She was preceded in death by her husband John "Jack" Segon, her brothers Danny & Johnathan Emmett.

Edie leaves behind two sons John M. Segon & Brandon P. Segon (Wife Jessica), and a daughter Erica L. Mendrzycki (Husband Ray)
4 Grandchildren, John Day Jr., Abigail Kovac, Emma L. Mendrzycki & Dominic M. Segon. Also many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Edie loved Shopping, Traveling & Going out to Eat. She was an avid decorator for every holiday and celebration. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends every opportunity she had. Edie's personality and charisma lit up every room she was in.
She will be so greatly missed.

Edie fought a tough battle with Small Cell Lung Cancer until the very end.

We would like to thank Duke Cancer Center Durham Thoracic Oncology team for an outstanding job.

We would also like to thank SECU Hospice House in Smithfield NC., for all the compassion they showed to our Mother in her final day's of life.

Our Family will be holding a Celebration of Life in Honor of Edie , the Summer of 2025.
