Eunice Sandra Morse

Eunice Sandra Morse, of Raleigh, NC, Mother to David Botting and wife Mary, West Yarmouth, MA, Douglas Botting and wife Tammy, Raleigh, NC, and Eric Botting, Raleigh, NC passed away on December 18, 2024 after a short battle with cancer. Her final days were spent surrounded by family. She had just recently celebrated her 93rd birthday.
Known for her keen sense of humor, Eunice \ Sandra \ Aunt Nini \ Grams \ The Old Sponge will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Eunice’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing.
Eunice’s creativity was evident in everything she did: leading the Cub Scout dens for both David and Douglas in New Providence, NJ, creating summer plays in the backyard of the family’s summer home on Cape Cod, starring her three sons, nephews Richard and Don Condo, and niece Karen Condo, dressing up as Captain Kidd to entertain the “kidz”, organizing and leading group trips around the world on cruise ships as a travel agent, working at Asheville School for many years, decorating her “porch” at Capital Oaks for each holiday, and shopping for the perfect Christmas gifts for every family member and close friends throughout the year.
In addition to her three sons, she is survived by 5 grandchildren, Evan and wife Sammi, West Harwich, MA, Patrick and wife Heather, Monterey Park, CA, Brianna, Murfreesboro, TN, Craig and wife Jill, Canton, MA, Elizabeth and husband Eric, Mashpee, MA, and her beloved 6 great grandchildren, Brynn, Nora, Adeline, Wesley, Leighton, and Landon, and her collection of penguins. She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Vivian, sister June Condo Parker, and granddaughter Danica Botting.
Her ashes will be buried next to her parents in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, New Jersey. A small, graveside ceremony will be held in the spring of 2025 on a still to be determined date.
