Reginald “Reggie” Rodney Baker, 58, of Raleigh, passed away on January 27, 2025. He was born in Asheville, North Carolina on May 6, 1966. Reggie was a loving father, husband, brother and friend. He we will be remembered for his vibrant and chatty personality, often times saying “he would stop and make convseration with a street sign.” His favorite past times were watching Panthers football and anything UNC Chapel Hill related. He is survived by his wife Beverly (Shelly) M. Hudson-Baker of 29 years and his daughter Beverly Jordan Baker both of Raleigh, NC as well as his sisters Wanda, Angela, Kathy, and Floree. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as, several other extended family members and friends. He is proceeded in death by his mother Florence Mildred Haynes and his father Nathan Genette Baker Jr, his brother Nathan Baker Jr, as well as, his nephew Lacy Pickens.
